Job Description

Payrate: $40.00 - $45.00/hr.

Summary:

This individual will be responsible for strategically planning and executing various types of trade shows and affiliated events throughout the year. And it will play a key role in delivering exhibits and sponsorships across Client’s Community & Regional Sales portfolio, optimizing Client’s presence at shows, and managing event logistics.

The individual will also play a key role in managing aspects of the North America Events tentpole client and employee events. The position is based in Foster City or San Francisco, California.

The client needs candidates with direct, hands-on tradeshow experience and seeking a passionate, collaborative, and detail-oriented Event Manager to join our North America Events team.

•Post-Event Analysis

Skills:

•5 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree

•Direct event management experience supporting trade shows and small networking events

•Proficient in MS suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); savvy with technology with a data-focused mindset

•Able to manage basic graphic design tasks (resize images, cropping, etc.)

•Experience managing project folders and documents using MS Teams and other Microsoft systems

•Superior communication skills (written & verbal); skills developing website copy and event communications

•Trustworthy and credible; ability to manage sensitive information and share only as needed/appropriate

Desired:

•Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Certification preferred

•Knowledge of Payments industry or event experience at Fintech organization a plus

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
