Job Summary:

As the Lead Home Service Technician, you will respond to scheduled home/property maintenance appointments, handle field dispatches, engage in on-site customer interactions, complete job estimates, maintain equipment, manage van consumable inventory, and ensure vehicle safety. Additional duties include routine and scheduled vehicle maintenance visits and ongoing oil changes.

You are principled and disciplined, bringing high energy to the field. You work hard, avoid cutting corners, and learn from your mistakes. Your character is of utmost importance, and you operate with a strong moral compass. You like a mix of indoor and outdoor work and are good with your hands.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine service maintenance within defined timeframes
  • Perform preventive maintenance on service equipment
  • Inspect and troubleshoot service equipment failures
  • Install, test, and train customers on new service equipment
  • Maintain van equipment and daily stock of consumables
  • Utilize technology (camera, phone, tablet) in your work
  • Train and mentor Junior Technicians
  • Adhere to company protocols, ensuring no amendments or repairs to the homeowner's property

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a maintenance environment
  • Leadership experience and willingness to learn new leadership skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to complete tasks efficiently
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to educate homeowners on maintaining critical components of their homes
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • High School Diploma or GED
