Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues at various client locations. This includes setting up desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, POS systems, and networking equipment.
- Deploy and configure hardware and software systems, ensuring compatibility, security, and optimal performance.
- Analyze and diagnose technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, system updates, and security patches to proactively address potential issues and maintain system integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of support activities, including ticket management, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and system configurations. Generate reports to track trends, identify recurring issues, and propose long-term solutions.
- Provide user training and guidance on software applications, system functionality, and best practices to enhance productivity and minimize user errors.
- CCTV- Deploy and install surveillance systems to ensure optimal performance
- Adding new user accounts, modifying permissions, removing accounts in O365, Azure, SharePoint, etc.
- Testing new technology and solutions (purchasing, building, installing, etc.)
- Training staff on technology use, including new computers, printers, and software
- Traveling to company locations to assist with IT service installation, repair, or general support.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks which includes upgrading anti-virus software and security systems to ensure network security.
- Maintaining technical documentation of all IT related work
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Perform light mechanical work on arcade equipment (e.g., adjusting motors, tightening belts, replacing minor mechanical components)
Qualifications:
- Previous IT experience related to CCTV, POS, Firewall, Switching, WiFi, Microsoft O365, Windows OS, HyperV, VoIP Phones, DMX Lighting, Audio, Door access control, TV, PC peripherals
- Minimum of two years of experience in IT support, with a focus on field support and on-site troubleshooting.
- Experience with software installation - Windows OS, RMM, Drivers, Embed, Brunswick Sync, Aloha.
- Previous troubleshooting experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues across multiple platforms, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Working in a team environment
- Provide discretion and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with users of varying technical levels in a professional and courteous manner.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated and proactive in completing duties and working on projects.
- Ability to climb ladders and work comfortable with heights required.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
